Applications for Greenleaf Grants, our nonprofit grant program, are open for 2024.
Greenleaf Grants is a grant program for Wisconsin-based nonprofit organizations designed to cover funding gaps for marketing, web, and outreach initiatives.
We understand that ideas are many and funding is limited. That’s why we started Greenleaf Grants: to enrich our community by helping the organizations that serve it.
Since we started this program over 15 years ago, Greenleaf Grants has helped countless nonprofit organizations improve and enrich the communities in which they serve. Previous grant recipients include Lion’s Eye Band of Wisconsin, Briarpatch Youth Services, Clean Wisconsin, CEOs of Tomorrow, Easterseals Wisconsin, Aldo Leopold Nature Center, and Environmental Education for Kids (EEK).

Possible Projects
Greenleaf Grants fills funding gaps and provides in-kind services for marketing, graphic design, outreach, and web initiatives. Goals for the project should be specific and promote a nonprofit organization. Grant-covered services include:
- Branding (logo, tagline, copywriting, identity)
- Graphic Design (brochures, reports, collateral materials)
- Website Design and Development (CMS, responsive design)
Eligibility
Eligible organizations must:
- be a 501(c)(3) organization
- based in Wisconsin
- contribute at least 50% of the project’s funding
Our grants are intended to cover gaps rather than fund project outright. Approved funding depends on timing, funds available and need. Typical grant approvals cover about 15-50% of the total project funding. Doing this allows Greenleaf Grants to support more nonprofits from year to year.
